She was also a Benedictine nun and Christian mystic. Vision is director Margarethe von Trotta's highly acclaimed, beautifully shot portrait of von Bingen. \"Transporting. Casts convent life as a kind of fever dream. Von Trotta's canvas of medieval faith impresses in its detail.\" (Benjamin Mercer, The L Magazine) <\/p>\n<p><strong>Prior to both screenings of the film, local Bingen scholar and singer Margaret Waddell will perform a short set of Bingen's music . .
