To our wonderful supporters,
\nThroughout the year, each of you contribute to our organization with an abundance of thoughtful and meaningful actions. Maybe you're that person who buys Fest passes and Cinema tickets for members of the community who are new to town, because you know once they experience what we do, they too will become fans. Maybe you\u2019re the one who give Cinema gift certificates to your kids\u2019 teachers. Maybe you're the one who always checks in on social media, so that all of your friends will know what cool movies are playing at Ragtag and True\/False.<\/p>\n

On November 26, I announced a year-end campaign to raise $10,000 by December 31<\/span><\/span>. These funds will replace the reduction in federal grant funding our organization received in the previous calendar year. I appreciate the outpouring of support we have received in these past three weeks. We are a little over halfway to our goal. In fact, we reached the amount we had hoped to raise through our Facebook campaign earlier this week. This has been a year of many unknowns and uncertainties for nearly everyone I know. And yet, I find myself still surrounded by a community of people who genuinely care about other people, and still believe in the value of making the arts accessible for everyone.<\/div>\n
