A must-see for fans of Fellini and Italian cinema. You might say it's a where-are-they-now <a title=\"IMDb!\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0053779\/?ref_=nv_sr_1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Dolce Vita<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The film starts with a quote from C\u00e9line's <a title=\"wiki\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Journey_to_the_End_of_the_Night\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Journey to the End of Night<\/a> (1932). I'll include it here because it quickly disappears from the screen:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Travel is useful, it exercises the imagination. All the rest is disappointment and fatigue. Our journey is entirely imaginary. That is its strength. It goes from life to death. People, animals, cities, things, all are imagined. It's a novel, just a fictitious narrative.\u00a0Littr\u00e9 says so, and he's never wrong. And besides, in the first place, anyone can do as much. You just have to close your eyes.
