Sound of My Voice<\/a>\u00a0 June 1.\u00a0 Another indie sci-fi film from Brit Marling (Another Earth). A journalist and his girlfriend go deep undercover to investigate a cult and a woman from the future...or is she?

Bernie<\/a>\u00a0 One of those films that marry documentary and fiction. Based on true events, Bernie tells the murder story of a small-town undertaker (Jack Black) and his (much) older cranky wife (Shirley MacLaine) using interviews from actual town members.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Headhunters<\/a>\u00a0 A big-time corporate headhunter with a shadow-career in art thieving becomes the hunted. Featuring your man\u00a0Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones). Looking forward to this one.

\nNot the milk!<\/p>\n

The Raid: Redemption<\/a>\u00a0 If you like bad-ass action flicks this one's for you. I'm not even gonna tell you about it. You just need to watch the trailer:

\nThe Raid will probably only have a weekend run so keep an eye out for it.<\/p>\n

Homebrewed Series\u00a0 Every Wednesday in June we'll be showing a microbudget film from an up-and-coming American director. I believe most of these films are still in the film-festival circuit. This is a great way to see a cool film before anyone has even heard of it. A big thanks to Chris for selecting these films and Uprise Bakery for selecting companion beers (to be sampled with each screening). There will be a Q&A with the director after each film---in person or via the internet.<\/p>\n

Ragtag Birthday Party\u00a0 <\/strong>We're turning 14! Come celebrate with tasty treats and a free movie. Rumors tell of cookies + ice cream and the launch of a monthly True\/False Film Fest retrospective series.<\/p>\n

Monsieur Lazhar<\/a>\u00a0 An Algerian immigrant talks his way into teaching at a Montr\u00e9al elementary school, replacing a beloved teacher who's recently committed suicide.

Moonrise Kingdom<\/a>\u00a0 Another instant classic from Wes Anderson. Cross your fingers we get this. Go on, cross em!<\/p>\n
