It\u2019s been said before, but we cannot do this without our community so\u2014<em>thank you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Cinema,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ragtagcinema.org\/films\/2030\" target=\"_blank\">Tragedy of Macbeth<\/a><em>&nbsp;<\/em>and&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ragtagcinema.org\/films\/2029\" target=\"_blank\">Licorice Pizza<\/a>&nbsp;continue their runs, but chances to catch Paul Thomas Anderson\u2019s latest on 35mm are running out: All shows through Thursday, January 6th are on celluloid, with final curtain calls on Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm. On the surface, horrors are unlocked as two young women move into a New York City apartment once owned by convicted sex-trafficer Jeffrey Epstein. But beyond the immediate, the film makes alchemy of shock cinema, 1970s paranoia thrillers, the darker sides of the internet, and the conspiracy theories that have breached American government. Subversive in its politics and its humor, the film is a gleefully transgressive and polarizing experience.
