Presented in partnership with the Missouri Film Office<\/a>, CoMo Famous is our annual series celebrating cinema and community while raising money for Ragtag Film Society, the nonprofit that runs Ragtag Cinema and True\/False Film Fest. This year during CoMo Famous, five prominent Columbians each selected a film to show \u2014 one night only at a special outdoor location! Contestants will compete for the highest amount of money raised for their event from ticket sales and donations between now and Oct. 27. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Your 15 Minutes\" Admission<\/strong> ($20 per ticket, $15 for members): A single outdoor CoMo Famous screening event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"True Legend\" Admission<\/strong> ($100 per ticket): One outdoor screening event plus an invite to the CoMo Famous Finale party on Friday, Oct. 23. This exclusive event will include an outdoor screening, as well as a socially distanced picnic and other fun surprises!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees should arrive 15 minutes early to the contestants' outdoor screenings to get settled for any pre-film festivities! If inclement weather crops up, there will be rain dates for each screening, and information will be sent to all ticket holders as well as posted online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the finale party, guests will enjoy dinner from Big Daddy\u2019s BBQ<\/a> (choice of pulled chicken or pork, or veggie burger) and keep warm with drinks from Logboat<\/a>, Les Bourgeois<\/a>, and\/or hot apple cider. We\u2019ll have a roaring bonfire, merch, and photo-ops! We\u2019ll also have a very special Branson-inspired musical performance, a chance to win prizes through trivia, games, and drawings, plus one final auction for a 3-day Branson getaway(!!!) before settling in for the 2013 Missouri film, AWFUL NICE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
